Single station bias calculation using data from calibrated GNSS station for various baseline distances

Abstract Precise ionospheric TEC can be derived from dual-frequency GNSS carrier phase leveled pseudorange measurements. However, differential code biases (DCB) of satellite and receiver are the main errors that cannot ignored for precise calculation. We have proposed a method calculating station DCB using calibrated STEC data baseline station. The is simply based on understanding ionosphere observed by two stations at same universal time (UT) considered similar would pose delay to signals propagating stations. tested different distances 250–1000 km in latitudinal regions. For 500 baseline, average calculation error one year less than 0.22 ns, 0.11 0.25 ns low, mid high latitude regions, respectively. most consistent results were obtained latitudes where standard deviation remains ns. least accurate low spread between 0.29 0.50 Results showed accuracy consistency estimation reduced with increasing distance participating This was specifically true
